big toe

In Adaptive Physical Activity class we watched a video of a guy playing the guitar...with his toes! He has no arms and loves music so he had his friend teach him how to play. I thought it was amazing that he could do it and was actually GOOD at it. He has a band and travels across the country and plays in parks. The way he plays the guitar is he lays it on the ground and levels the neck of the guitar with something underneath to keep the guitar straight and not moving. He sits on a chair and strums away.

Since we sit right next to each other in that class I obviously saw the same video. I have to agree with you how amazing it was. I cannot even imagine how hard that had to have been to learn. I canot even learn to play with my fingers haha! It is great to see disabled people do such wonderful things!

I've never heard of someone playing the guitar with their toes. That is very impressive! Also, it shows that nothing will stop him from playing his own music, which he obviously has a great passion for. I haven't had Adaptive Physical Activity before, but I've heard that it is a very interesting class. I can't even play the guitar with my hands, so I can really appreciate anyone with such an extra-ordinary talent. Make sure that you blog about any other interesting videos from your class!
